Big Break Atlantis 7: It's TKO for Kelly

This week on Big Break Atlantis we witnessed clutch golf like I've never seen it before on a BB series.

Maniac putting kept many contestants in the running, but in the finally showdown, the nail biting finish resulted in Kelly Villarreal taking the long walk.

No amount of letters on her golf gloves could help her short game in the end. The BRAVE and fearless fighter was knocked out by our Eliminator, Anya.

Anya's become quite the expert at surviving elimination being in the un-enviable position for 5 out of the last 7 shows.  Make it stop!

After missing last week, I have lots to ask her and Natalia about both Episode 6 and 7, so let's get to it.

First up, Natalia.  Natalia has a unique perspective on the past two shows - she was so close to the action, being only yards away from the competition, but unable to watch the drama unfold until now...

I'll try and catch up with Anya sometime this week between her practice rounds and training for the US Open which starts next Thursday.

Meanwhile, I'm delighted again that BlueFalcon has provided his analysis and commtary on this week's show. Check it out below and let us both know what you think.

Until next week...Play well and love the game!

Before I begin this week’s recap, I want to apologize for my error last week. I wrote that Christina Stockton is 2nd in Big Break points. In actuality, Gloriana Soto was 2nd coming into this week and Christina was 3rd.  My apologies for the error.

Now, on to the good stuff…

6 ladies,5 episodes, 1 winner. This week, we saw some of the most dramatic play of the season, and maybe some of the best shots in Big Break history.

It started off with the players being informed that they would be playing 5 head-to-head matches, based on their points standings.  Each winner would earn 15 championship points and immunity. The loser would go on to the next match. The exception being the 5th and final match.  The loser of the final match-the elimination match-would be eliminated from Big Break Atlantis.  As low person on the totem pole, Kelly Villareal, with 8 points, was automatically sent to the EM.

First match: Marcela Leon (1st in points with 60) vs. Gloriana Soto (2nd in points with 49.)
Hole: 2nd hole on Ocean Club course. Par 5. 475 yards.
Match summary:
Marcela: Hit tee shot into fairway bunker. 2nd shot from 267 in bunker, in fairway, now 166 to hole.  3rd shot missed green.  4th shot weak chip to green. Par putt powered by hole.
Gloriana: Tee shot in rough, flirted with hazard. 261 to hole.  2nd shot laid up in fairway to 86 yards.  Hit green with approach on 3rd shot.  High-sided birdie putt but made par to win hole and match.

2nd match: Marcela vs. Christina.
Hole: 3rd hole. Par 3.135 yards.
Match Summary:
Marcela: Hit green with tee shot to 9 feet of hole. Made birdie putt.
Christina: Also hit green but well outside Marcela’s tee shot.  Made long birdie putt coming back to force Marcela to make hers to send match to sudden death.
Sudden Death: 35 yard pitch shot.  Marcela hits a great pitch to green. Christina flies green with her pitch, faces downhill putt from off green. Christina makes her putt!  Marcela misses her birdie effort. Christina wins in dramatic fashion!

3rd match: Marcela vs. Selanee Henderson.
Hole: 4th hole. Par 4. 372 yards.
Match Summary:
Marcela hit drive down left side in fairway.  2nd shot approach hit green.  Selanee’s tee shot way left into rough. 2nd shot  also way left in grass between greenside bunkers. Then…the rain and hail came. The match was delayed for a spell.  When play resumed, Selanee’s chip barely reached green. Marcela missed her birdie putt but made short par save.  Selanee missed her par putt. Marcela wins immunity.

4th match: Selanee vs. Anya Alvarez.
6th hole.Par 5.480 yards.
Match Summary:
Anya hits huge drive off tee in fairway;  has only 208 to hole.  Selanee finds left fairway bunker with tee shot, has 213 to hole. Anya finds right fairway bunker with layup shot.  Anya is away, her 3rd shot flies green. Still away, her 4th  shot barely reaches green.  After a wait, Selanee’s fairway bunker shot lands about 8 feet from hole.  Anya is away with a par putt, which she shoves well by the hole. Selanee makes her birdie putt. Selanee wins immunity, forcing Anya to play Kelly in EC final match.
Before that, however, the 4 immune players played a special points match. Players hit 2 shots from one of four locations to points circles on green. Points accumulated added to championship points total. The caveat: the players would not choose their club or location to hit from, instead having to choose both from a board.

Results of Points Challenge:
Marcela: flop shot with wedge, 7 points.
Gloriana: 9 iron from greenside bunker, 2 points.
Christina: 8 iron from between branches of a tree, 1 point.
Selanee: 7 iron pitch shot, 2 points.
Points as of this challenge:
Marcela: 82
Gloriana: 66
Christina: 64
Selanee: 53
Anya: 14
Kelly: 8

Elimination Match: Anya vs. Kelly
Hole: 9th hole. Par 4.382 yards.

Anya’s tee shot finds rough. Kelly splits the fairway with her tee shot. Kelly’s approach, barely finds green, has birdie putt from 39 feet away. Anya makes great shot from rough to green. Has 4 feet left for birdie. Then…Kelly makes her birdie putt from 39 feet!!!!!!

After getting over her shock, Anya makes her birdie putt to force sudden death. The players would replay the 9th hole. This time, Kelly has the honors first. Her tee shot finds right rough.  Anya ‘s tee shot goes right down the middle.

2nd shots: Kelly doesn’t reach green with her approach from 160 yards. Anya does with hers from 114.

Kelly misses green again with 3rd shot. Anya birdie effort comes up about 4 feet short of hole.
4th shots: Kelly barely misses right with par effort. Anya makes her par putt to send Kelly home.

Now, on to the grades:

Anya Alvarez: Her middle name is Sarai. After this show, she might want to consider changing it to Kitty or some other derivation because she’s definitely used up a few lives in this season. Went to elimination for 5th time in 7 episodes-most among remaining competitors (by comparison, Selanee has been to 2 eliminations, Christina and Marcela, 1 each, and Gloriana has yet to face an elimination challenge.) No surprise she showed the mental strength to fight off Kelly’s fabulous shot in EC, given what she’s been through as a child sexual abuse survivor.  Currently last in points with 29.  Score: 7.

Selanee Henderson: Didn’t play match #3 vs. Marcela before or after rain delay. Did birdie hole in match vs. Anya, but was clearly helped by Anya’s struggles.  4th in points with 53. Score: 7.

Marcela Leon: Played poorly in first match vs. Gloriana.  Was burned by Christina’s magic wand in 2nd match but came back to beat Selanee in 3rd match. The other players said she was a bit angry in that match. Maybe that’s a good thing.  More than ¾ of the way to 100 points with 82 points as of end of this episode.  Score: 8.

Gloriana Soto: Did well enough to win opening match vs. Marcela. Struggled in points challenge, but was handicapped by bad luck in choosing a difficult shot/club combination.  2nd in points with 66. Score: 6.

Christina Stockton: Made two dramatic putts in match vs. Marcela. Those weren’t dimes, they were quarters and half-dollars.  Struggle in points challenge was similar to Gloriana’s.  But after the two putts she made, it’s hard to quibble with Christina this week .3rd in points with 64. Score: 9.5.

Kelly Villareal: Despite the fact that Kelly was eliminated this week, she can leave with her head up. Did a lot of good things: led for a while in points. Beat Marcela in one of Big Break’s biggest upsets.  But this week was the highest point, making one of the greatest shots in BB history. That wasn’t a dime either, it was a Susan B. Anthony Dollar, bay-bee!!!!!!!!  What I will miss most about Kelly was the fact that she was the best dressed person for interviews.  Her on-course sartorial attire deserves far less praise; in fact, none of the ladies were fashionistas on the course, but that’s a subject for another time and place.  Score : 10 for the putt,  5 for the rest of her performance this week. Total: 7.5.

Big Break Atlantis 6: Adieu Allison

Once again, I am here to apologize about my tardiness in getting Anya and Natalia's BB episode 6 interviews posted this week.

Sadly I still haven't been able to watch the show - battling Maui Cable guys to fix the signal into my condo is a full time job for me, on what should be my vacation.  Haven't even hit a golf ball in paradise yet.  Now that's a crime!

But my buddy Blue Falcon sent me his commentary about the show, for which I am very grateful.  Please check out his analysis and then let me know what you think.  BTW, this is how he scores the contestants.

1. Unmentionable
2. Very Poor
3. Poor

“Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea”
by Blue Falcon

I’m not entirely sure where the devil is, but certainly there is a deep blue sea all around the ladies of “Big Break Atlantis” and this week it claimed yet another victim as Allison Micheletti became the sixth player eliminated from BBA.

The particulars:

The ladies got the latest twist in the tail of BBA at breakfast, when they were informed that the buyout option from episodes 2-5 is now off the table. I like that. If you are going to win Big Break, my feeling is that you should earn it. If that means going to elimination, so be it. No escaping. No easy way out.  There are no easy ways out in a tournament, so therefore, to me, there ought not to be an easy way in Big Break.  Off my soapbox now.

First stage of Immunity Challenge:  3 locations, one shot from each competitor per location. Lowest cumulative distance from hole wins immunity and 12 championship points.  The winner would then challenge another player they pick in a duel.  The winner of that duel gains an additional 5 points. All players would earn points based on following scoring system.

Position: Points
1st: 12
2nd: 9
3rd: 6
4th: 4
5th: 3
6th: 2
7th : 1

Points as of start of day:
Marcela Leon: 57
Allison Micheletti : 39
Christina Stockton: 38
Gloriana Soto: 37
Selanee Henderson : 27
Anya Alvarez & Kelly Villareal: 0

Gloriana won the challenge with one great shot and two average shots.  Others hit one or two good shots, but couldn’t sustain consistency for all three shots.  Gloriana then challenged Anya to the duel. They called in their seconds, and Anya beat Gloriana for the additional 5 points.

Points after 1st stage of IC:
Marcela: 60
Gloriana: 49
Christina: 48
Allison: 40
Selanee: 36
Anya: 14
Kelly: 2

Second stage of IC: Three head-to-head matchups. Players themselves choose distance from hole to hit shots inside of. Winners get 6 points and immunity. Losers go to elimination challenge.

The matchups:
Marcela vs. Kelly (Marcela’s choice)
Christina vs. Anya (Christina’s choice)
Allison vs. Selanee (last two players)
In THE upset of BBA, Kelly beat Marcela! Yes, that is correct. David beat Goliath.  Christina pipped Anya, and Selanee knocked off Allison.

Points after 2nd stage of IC:
Marcela: 60
Christina : 54
Gloriana : 49
Selanee: 42
Allison: 40
Anya: 14
Kelly: 8

Allison, Anya and Marcela on to Elimination Challenge.   EC had two stages. First, an increasing length putting challenge. Player who makes from furthest distance when others miss gains immunity. Other two players go to second stage of EC, and one is eliminated.

All three players made putts from 3 feet.  Marcela missed putt from 4 feet. Allison & Anya made.
Both players made from 5 feet. Allison missed from 6 feet. Anya made. Allison & Marcela on to second stage of EC.

Second stage of EC. One hole of golf played from two distances. The par 4  10th hole on the Ocean Club course played from the front & back tees- a 150 yard disparity in distance between the two tee boxes.  Winner goes on, loser goes home.

First hole: 253 yards.
Allison got the upper hand, hitting her first tee shot in fairway, while Marcela fanned her tee shot wide right. Marcela got her approach to the green and salvaged a par, while Allison made a hash of her advantage with an extremely poor pitch for her second shot and wound up bogeying the hole. Score after first location: Marcela: E. Allison: +1.

Second hole: 404 yards.
Marcela split the fairway with her tee shot. However, it all went pear shaped for Allison. After a horrid drive-175 yards with her driver, also known as a Bluefalcon special-Allison really bollixed the hole by trying to hit driver off the deck from 228 yards and royally failed.  Stick a fork in Allison, cause she’s done. Marcela birdied the hole to win in style. After Allison botched her second shot, the other contestants were all crying, and so was I.  Allison seems like a nice young woman, but she also has a ways to go before her game is LPGA level. I wish her the best.

Now, on to the grades.

Anya Alvarez: Hit two good pitches in first stage of IC, but poor third shot cost her shot at immunity. Beat Gloriana  to pick up 5 additional points.  Lost to Christina, barely, in second stage of IC.  Won putting challenge of EC to stave off immunity, but is clearly growing frustrated with her inability to gain immunity earlier and lessen her stress level. Will it motivate her to do better, or cost her?  Only time will tell. Score: 7.

Selanee Henderson: Third in 1st stage of IC-like Anya, hit two good shots but couldn’t get the third shot to go her way. Beat Allison in 2nd stage of IC, but in all honesty, that was more Allison’s poor play and bad luck than Selanee’s brilliance.  Score: 6.

Marcela Leon: For a while, it looked like Marcela had a clear path to the championship match-through 4 shows she had only hit 6 shots!-but recently BBA’s most experienced player has begun to falter a little. Hit best shot in 1st stage of IC, 1’2’’, but hit two awful shots afterward to finish 5th in that challenge. Then, lost to Kelly-the player with the fewest points beat the player with the most-forcing Marcela to elimination for the first time. Missed her four foot putt to go to EC vs. Allison. Beat Allison, but has not been the dominant force she was before. As Christina so aptly put it: “She’s Human!”  Score: 5.

Allison Micheletti:  Not Allison’s finest hour. Hit a few good shots, but a lot of poor ones, including her grave error in judgment on 2nd hole of EC, which sealed her fate.  I like Allison, but she needs to polish her game up.  Score: 3.

Gloriana Soto: Won immunity in 1st stage of IC, on the strength of a great 2nd shot and the other players-Anya, Christina and Selanee-hitting poor 3rd shots. Lost to Anya in duel.  Inconsistent, but good enough to be 3rd in points right now.  Score: 6.

Christina Stockton: Hit two great shots in 1st stage of IC-Christina clearly loves her short irons and wedges-but it went off the rails on third shot to fall from 2nd to 4th in stage 1. Sqeaked by Anya in 2nd stage of IC to gain immunity. Quietly in 2nd place with 54 points.  She’s now a dark horse to win.  Score: 8.

Kelly Villareal: High point, beating Marcela in 2nd stage of IC.  Not much else to write home about otherwise. Kelly is at the bottom of the totem pole with 8 points. Doing just enough to stay alive in competition. But, is that enough to win?  Score: 5.

Once again, thank you Blue Falcon for your insights.  I can't wait to watch the show to see if we agree ;)

I'll be back next week with the ladies and will cover both Episode 6 and 7.

Until then...

Aloha!

Blue Falcon fills in during Maui Madness

Hey Big Break Fans!
Hope everyone enjoyed episode 6 this week.  I am embarrassed to say I haven't seen it yet.  I've been in Maui getting my condo ready for renting out to vacationers and the construction folks who did my new tile work killed all the cabling to the TVs when they buried them, and I'm still waiting for an electrician to fix the problem.  Sigh...

And although I'm going through BB withdrawal, it's not so bad; my view isn't hard to look at while I wait ;)

Until I get back into Reality TV land, I am very pleased to provide you with an insightful look at the contestants as of Episode 5, provided by guest blogger, Blue Falcon.  You may remember his analysis of Lili and Carling's shootout at BB Sandals in 2010.

Blue Falcon's Analyis of Big Break Atlantis Contestants from “Batten Down the Hatches”

Anya Alvarez.:  Lost her Immunity Challenge tic-tac-toe match to Gloriana Soto.

That, however, is not the talking point of this episode for Ms. Alvarez.  While at sixes & sevens after missing a pitch shot in the second stage of the IC, Anya slammed her 56’ wedge against her left instep, bending it beyond repair and making her a huge favourite among the folks at Adams Golf.  She did gain 3 pts on her 2nd shot of 2nd stage but missed her 3rd and cashed out her points to avoid Elimination Challenge.

Score: 3.

Natalia Ghilzon:  My pick to win.

Shocked at breakfast to discover that she and her friend Kelly Villareal would have to play one hole of golf to avoid being sent directly to elimination.  Natalia beat Kelly to keep herself alive for a while. Lost her IC match to guest Big Break alum Gerina (Mendoza) Piller.  Recovered in 2nd stage of IC with a great first shot, but flubbed her final 2 shots in challenge.  Had lead thru 2 stages of Elimination Challenge, but it all went pear shaped when Natalia sent her tee shot on the final stage to Davy Jones Locker.   Sadly, there won’t be a 2nd Canadian winner in the last three Big Break’s.  And even worse for me, I look like a fool. (Not for the first time!)

Score: 3.

Selanee Henderson:  Has taken over Mallory Blackwelder’s torch as the Eliminator.

Selanee has gained some much needed confidence and her game is showing it.  Had Marcela Leon on the ropes in tic-tac-toe, but couldn’t deliver the TKO -- brother Dan will be so disappointed -- but came back strong with a 6 pt showing to avoid elimination.  Her arrow is definitely pointing upward.

Score: 8

Marcela Leon:  Missed a shot in tic-tac-toe-a shocking development!

But rallied back to win when Selanee couldn’t close the deal.  Picked up 7 pts in 2nd stage of IC, but for the first time this season, didn’t win immunity outright.  She’s certainly right now the favourite, but she did show this episode that she’s human.I also must praise Marcela’s attitude. She is gracious in victory and defeat  and she is clearly grateful for the opportunity to do something she loves and shows great enthusiasm.  A lot of people, myself included, could learn from her example.

Score: 9.

Allison Micheletti:  Lost to Christina in tic-tac-toe.

But Natalia handed Allison her magic wand from last week, which Allison used to great effect  in second stage of Avis Extra Effort Immunity Challenge to score 8 pts and win immunity. Her stock is on the rise.

Score: 9.

Gloriana Soto:  Started well-beating Anya in their tic-tac-toe match.

But the wheels came off Glo’s little red wagon a bit after that. Did make 2 pts to stave off going to elimination, but she is playing a bit of a dangerous game.

Score : 6.

Kelly Villareal:  The cracks in her armor from last episode are beginning to widen.

Lost to Natalia to head straight to EC.  If not for Natalia’s poor shot on 3rd shot of EC, Kelly would be the one heading home.  Needs to pick it up if she’s going to win.

Score: 3.

Thanks Blue Falcon!  Lover your analogies.

Looking forward to seeing this week's show and chatting with Anya and Natalia.  Should be interesting to hear what Natalia's view is given this is the first time she saw the day's events.

Back soon!

Golf has Rules; USGA has Loopholes

It's moving day at the US Open and this one promises to be full of excitement and tension with Tiger coming off a win at the memorial to end up leading the field after yesterday's cut.

But with 17 players within 4 shots of his lead, it's no gimmee for him yet.  I wish I could be there to feel the buzz, even if just to volunteer.

Speaking of volunteering...

If you buy a single day ticket to the US Open it’s somewhere between $110.00 and $125.00.  A week’s pass is about $500.00.  But if you volunteer, it’ll only cost you ~$165.00 and for that, you have access for the full week and some nice perks – shirts and goodies - merchandise that would probably cost more than $165.

Of course, you hope you aren’t relegated to parking lot duty, but even then, during your off hours, you can enjoy watching the best in the world grind through golf’s greatest test in golf.  Pretty sweet!

But like all good things, there are some people out there who would exploit the opportunity.  I recently learned about a few tricks people play, from someone who wishes to remain nameless (so I'll call him Bob).  He pointed out some pretty glaring loopholes that the USGA might want to consider plugging...

  • Most volunteer positions don’t require a photo id, so you can share your passes with friends (or if you are really sneaky, sell them online).  And according to Bob, hardly anyone ever checks your ID.
  •  You can register to become a USGA member under an alias and get a USGA membership card -- they don’t check ID for that.  Just send them a money order; or send them a cheque and say you’re paying on behalf of another golfer as a gift perhaps.
  • With that alias, you can sign up to a men’s club that doesn’t require an ID, post a bunch of scores, get a handicap under your fictitious name and then sign up to try and qualify for a USGA event like the Senior US Open. If your handicap is 3.4 or below, you can enter one of their qualifying events.
Now why would you want to do that?  Well, there is a rule that if you don’t shoot within 10 strokes of the leading score, you are prohibited from trying to qualify again.   So by entering under different names, a sneaky person could keep entering the qualifying rounds until he was successful (or just for the fun of it).  Not sure what they’d do if they actually qualified -- formally change their name perhaps? :)

Now I do not condone this behavior, but I am aware that it actually happened.  Someone even created a fictitious membership using his goat’s name – seriously!

Anyway, when I heard about these loopholes, I found it rather ironic that the organization responsible for writing and interpreting the Rules of Golf, haven’t quite put the same level of effort into writing and enforcing stringent rules on membership and tournament qualifying.

Perhaps the USGA really believes all golfers are honest and wouldn't do such underhanded things.  Haha...yeah, right! :)

Have a great US Open weekend everyone and Happy Fathers Day to all!

Big Break Atlantis 5: Night Night Natalia

This is the worst part of doing these weekly interviews - saying goodbye to a very special Big Breaker.

Natalia has been very gracious over the past 5 weeks, taking time out of her busy schedule to share her thoughts on each show and give us a behind-the-scenes look into the show.

It's sad knowing I won't be watching her compete next week.  But I don't think it will be long before we're watching Natalia again on the Golf Channel.

Natalia is self-proclaimed "scrapper" and I have no doubt that she will take this "speed bump" on her road to the LPGA in stride and come out scrapping even harder to fulfill her dream. You go girl!

Meanwhile, let's not forget the fiesty Anya who can Bend It Like Beckham when it comes to her wedges. :)  Not sure how she did that without breaking her foot, but it didn't seem to affect her next shot which awarded her the maximum 3 points.

I don't know about you, but I am very curious if she was clubless for the rest of the series and if we are going to see any more club casualties next week...

Natalia joined me tonight after returning from an Canadian Ladies event in Montreal.  What's up with the wrist?  I've been dying to ask her...

Thanks ladies!  Looking forward to chatting with you both next week.

Big Break Atlantis 4: Adios to Aubrey

Adios to Aubrey
While watching the Big Break this week I was thinking about how the team play aspect of the show was actually helping those who were weak, while hurting those who were strong.   The speed golf immunity challenge was fun to watch, but did it really separate the wheat from the chaff?  I don't think so.

And I thought about the fact that someone from this show would go on to compete with the best women in the world and wondered...does the show really result in the best player making it to the LPGA Tour?  Hmm...

But...ours is not to reason why...ours is but to do or...cry.

Sadly, as with every week on this reality TV show, someone has to go home.  Aubrey, even with her stellar bunker shots, didn't make it to the 5th show.  But we applaud that amazing bunker play and her goal to be the first "green" player on the LPGA.  Good luck Aubrey!

Meanwhile, Natalia and Anya worked their butts off to be safe on to the next show.  And yet I wonder...if they had been competing head to head with the others...would they have to work as hard as they did this week?

Let's ask them!  First today is Anya...

Nancy Lopez!  How could I have forgotten her!?  My favorite LPGA player of all time and I couldn't remember her name. Arg! Sorry Nancy!

Next up Natalia...and the big question for her is..."How do you feel about Wolf?" ;)

Thanks once again ladies!   Chat with you next week.  I wonder what surprise games the Golf Channel has in store for you then. ;)

Pops and Sunshine Heading for the Big Screen!

If you know anything about women’s professional golf, you will know Dave Andrews

Former TV news reporter and author of Pops and Sunshine, Dave is a huge supporter of young golf gals looking for their break into the big leagues of the LPGA.

If he’s not writing about them to boost their visibility with sponsors, he’s lugging their clubs around as a volunteer caddie/mentor during tournaments and qualifying rounds.

I read Pops and Sunshine quite a few years ago and found it to be a delightful book.  The story will warm and break your heart while the characters will make you laugh, cry and grit your teeth in anger.  From heroes to villains, this book has it all.   I highly recommend you read it.

When I heard that Dave was working on the movie script for Pops and Sunshine I had to find out more about it, and his partner in this venture, Gary Hudson.

Gary is an award-winning Hollywood actor and the producer for the Pops and Sunshine.   Gary has a very impressive resume:

He’s starred in:
  • Over 30 films – e.g. HOOPER with Burt Reynolds, ROAD HOUSE with Patrick Swayze, BATTLE IN SEATTLE with Woody Harrelson,  EYE of the KILLER with Kiefer Sutherland and ANGEL FALLS with Heather Locklear, to name a few.
  • Many television series and stage productions – e.g. AS THE WORLD TURNS, PARADISE FALLS, WILD ROSES, SMALLVILLE, DYNASTY, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, CRIMINAL MINDS, MISSING, THE TRACEY ALLMAN SHOW -- the list goes on and on…
Gary is also active in the producing and directing world. One of his projects STORMDANCER won “Best Family Adventure” recently at the screenplay festival in Monte Carlo.   And he just completed three Independent features DEADLINE where he won best supporting actor at the LA FIM FESTIVAL, WINGS of the DRAGON on location in Montreal, and THE NEVESKY PROSPECT on location in LATVIA for AMAZON.COM.

Told you, you’d be impressed :)

Together, Gary and Dave are laying the groundwork and putting all the pieces together to make Pops and Sunshine come alive on the big screen and I had the great honor of chatting with them about it this week.

Quite the dynamic duo, don’t you think?   In fact, I’d say with their passion, contacts and talent, Pops and Sunshine is an academy award winner in the making!

Best of luck Dave and Gary!
