Birdies, Eagles and Bears – Oh My!
The golf season is almost over, but for me, it’s just beginning. I have only played 8 rounds of golf in 10 months – I know…it’s shameful! But this weekend, I was fortunate to play The Rock – a Nick Faldo design up in the Muskokas. My golf guy and I had a blast playing the best and worst golf …

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to play a round of golf the way Old Tom Morris did back in the 1800˙s, long before the constraints imposed by modern golf clubs (e.g. pace of play) were introduced to the game? Well, you don’t need to wonder anymore. Just drive 3 hours north east of Vancouver to Sagebrush …

Last week I gushed over playing golf at The Challenge at Manele on Lana’i in Hawaii. This week, I’ll share a completely different, but just as memorable golf course on the same island – The Experience at Koele. If you make it over to Lana’i, don’t leave home without giving Koele a try. The Experience at Koele starts at 2,000 …

After spending 2 weeks on Maui last year playing golf at some of the world’s most beautiful golf resorts every day, I didn’t think life could get any better. And then I experienced Lana’i. Only a 45 minute ferry ride from Lahaina, Lana’i is the smallest of the inhabited islands in Hawaii, but one that packs the biggest punch per …
