Hey Awsi! I didn't realize that conflict. Wow! That's a tough choice for Carling to make. Someone screwed it would seem.

BB DR looks like it's going to be quite the show. I am happy they are trying something new. The series was getting a bit repetitive.

Golf Channel pulled a fast one on the winner of Sandals Resorts. Two of the major prizes overlap. I noticed tonight that Carling's exemption to Dubai on the Ladies European Tour falls on the same dates as LPGA Q School Finals, December 8-12. In other words, if Carling advances past first stage to Q School Finals, via the $5000 entry fee paid for by Big Break, she'll have to choose either Q School or Dubai. No doubt the pick would be Q School, given the long term implications.

Kind of spotty, if you ask me.

Carling has an excellent player's blog entry on the Golf Channel site, the longest and most detailed ever.

BTW, looks like Dominican Republic may be elimination free, a totally different format. The press release indicates the MVP of the winning team will be declared Big Break champion and receive the biggest prizes in series history. I understand the decision not to oust players when you've got a dream cast with potential conflicts galore, but how is the MVP identified? Points or vote? That could be season ending chaos all by itself.

I think that GC picked a lot of very controversial players for this next BB. David, Andrew, Lori, Brian, Blake, Christina...they'll all add a lot of excitement/drama to the series. Should be crazy for sure!

Wow, after Chris Brady from Charlotte this year it was a surprise and nice to see David Mobley back for next season. We are members of the same club (NorthStone Club) and he is far nicer then they showed him to be in the Michigan season. He is an entertainer and know what makes for good television, I predict some craziness from him and Andrew.

The thing about these reunions is that the contestants have a 2nd chance. Some of them really need it both from a "Did I really do that" perspective and from a "I want to show people what I can do" perspective. Maybe those are the same things.

All I know is that this reunion will be a reunion for me too.

Christina was my first and set the stage for dozens of other interviews. No way will I leave her out of this series.

So many of the others are dear to my heart because they have great heart even if the TV show didn't show that side of them.

Carling is very very special. No matter what she decides to do, she will succeed. She is so impressive!

I look forward to your comments during the net series - always top notch and so insightful!

I'd definitely renew with Christina. I believe she was your first Big Break subject and she's got a wonderful blend of analysis, insight and emotion. I continue to miss the confessionals posted on Golf Channel.com during Big Break. Christina was the weekly star. She's also probably the closest to LPGA caliber among the females, always advancing to Q School final stage.

Brian is the ultimate riot in Big Break history. And I mean that in a good way. I hope his game is in shape so he sticks around well into the series. Seemingly many of these players are not playing regular competitive golf so it's difficult to evaluate their level.

Otherwise, Andrew's weekly perspective would be intriguing. There were claims, including from other contestants, that his true personality was not portrayed accurately by Big Break, or that Andrew intentionally softened his image.

Blake wasn't my favorite but he's articulate and a good interview subject.

I can't agree that Sandals Resorts was among the best renewals. Save/Send was an unforced error. Likewise, they botched the glass format and the flop wall was AWOL. Ryann's elimination severely impacted the caliber of play, which noticeably declined from that point.

But Carling is a deserving winner, one of my favorites. Her ousting of Sara was easily the highlight of the show. Carling carried the series.
