I’m impresed. Here’s a kid with his head on straight and not feeling the pressure to move too fast, too soon.
Mr. and Mrs. Wie…take note…Young McIlroy is going to be a star golfer and he’s doing it the right way – not rushing into events until he’s ready – something you and Michelle have never learned.
I applaud him and the parents who raised him.

Fair play to Rory McIlroy for sticking to his schedule and not being swayed by an attarctive offer from Tiger Woods. However it is a great opportunity to showcase his abilities on the big stage and I hope he does not regret snubbing it. Afterall he is a bit further ahead progress wise than Michelle Wie was she tried to prove herself on the mens’ stage.
