Ernie “off” after attack from Monty?

Well, I just saw on PGA.com that Ernie missed the cut in Singapore with a 6 over par two round total. I am so sorry to see that. Ernie is one of my favorite players and role models.

I wonder if the criticism he faced from Monty and others had anything to do with his mental game. I feel badly for him because I believe he did what he thought was the right thing to do. I was pretty surprised at how he fought back in the media to the criticism – nothing held back in this story below is there?

It’s funny, but I like Ernie because I think he is a nice man – a really nice and kind gentleman. He’s the kind of man you’d take home to mom. I like Monty for the opposite reasons – he’s an emotional child on the course and obviously in the press room and I find him very entertaining. I like Sergio for the same reasons. They are the kind of men you date and have some fun with, but don’t marry and you keep them away from dad! 🙂
